Nevada (Portuguese band)

Nevada was a Portuguese pop band of the 1980s.

Formed with the two singers Jorge Mendes and Alfredo azinheira the group represented Portugal at the Concours Euro Vision Song Contest 1987 in Brussels. With the hit Neste barco à vela they landed on 18th place after the competition left Jorge Mendes, the group and the group as a trio azinheira tried to continue ( with the singers Fernanda Lopes and Carla Burity ).
