Nevada State Route 487

The Nevada State Route 487 - known as Baker Road - is a highway in the east of the state of Nevada. It begins at the confluence of unpaved Silver Creek Road in the U.S. Highway 6 / U.S. Highway 50 a few miles west of the border state of Utah and ends northwest of Garrison on the Utah State Route 21 over a distance of only 18.5 km runs it in a southeasterly direction along the west side of the Great Basin National Park along. In Baker - the only village in the road - leads a State Route 488, which is the main entrance to the National Park. The Baker Road is designated as a Nevada Scenic Byway.
