Nevada Stoody Hayes

Nevada Stoody Hayes ( born October 21, 1885 in Sandyville, Ohio; † 11 June 1941 in Tampa, Florida) was the wife of Alfonso Heinrich, Duke of Porto. After the death of Emanuel II, the last King of Portugal and the nephew of Alfonso Heinrich she claimed the legacy of the Portuguese royal family, as Emmanuel II died childless. This brought them into conflict with the Portuguese Government.
