Neversoft

Neversoft is a game development company founded in June 1994 by Joel Jewett, Mick West and Chris Ward. It was replaced by Tony Hawk video game series known, their parts were published by Activision. In 1999 the company was bought by Activision.

Since 2007, they developed several parts of the successful music game series Guitar Hero. Alone, sales of the third part of the series, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, amounts to over one billion U.S. dollars. In January 2009 it was announced that Neversoft will make the development of other parts of the Tony - hawk's series and concentrate on the Guitar Hero series.

Due to the poor sales performance of Guitar Hero was announced in February 2010 by Activision that Neversoft employees to lay off.

Neversoft developed their games for PC, Playstation, GameCube, Xbox, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Game Boy Advance, DS and PSP.
