Neviim or Nebiim (Hebrew: נְבִיאִים Prophet ) refers to the books of the prophets in the Tanakh. They are in the front prophets, representing the early events of the people of Israel, and with the rear prophets. The book of Daniel is not among the prophets, but to the Ketuvim, the Writings in the Tanakh.

The front prophets include:

• Joshua
• Judge
• Samuel
• Kings

The rear prophets include four books:

• Isaiah
• Jeremiah
• Ezekiel
• Twelve Prophets

The Twelve Prophets book is divided into various translations, including translations in German in the twelve minor prophets, each of which is counted as a separate book.
