New Journal of Botany

The Watsonia is a botanical journal for research on the native flora of the British Isles. The magazine is named after the English naturalist William Watson ( 1715-1787 ). It is published since 1949 by the Botanical Society of the British Isles, founded in 1836.

The Watsonia presents its historical article ( " excluding notes, Plant Records and Obituaries " ) online digitized as PDF documents. New book editions will be made available about a year after the publication online.
