New Meadow

The New Meadow, also known as the Greenhous Meadow, is a football stadium in Shrewsbury, England. It is the home stadium of the football club Shrewsbury Town and is classified as a UEFA category four stadium. The stadium with 9,875 seats located between the districts of Meole Brace and Sutton Farm, Shrewsbury. The original home stadium of The Shrews was replaced by the building of this stadium.

The stadium was completed in the summer of 2007, so it was time available for the 2007 /08 season and the contractor was Hall Construction

The name of the stadium was originally a temporary name during construction and should be changed after completion. However, this did not happen and the stadium was known during the first year in use as " New Meadowlands " and " Oteley Road Stadium ". After that, the stadium was officially called " Greenhous Meadow " named after the polls fans of Shrewsbury.
