New Romney

New Romney is a small town in the Shepway District of the English county of Kent in South East England on the edge of Romney Marsh. New Romney once had a seaport and was one of the founding cities of the Cinque Ports. The importance of the city waned during the 14th and 15th centuries, as the port silted up. Today, the city is located about two kilometers from the seashore.
