New Washington (Aklan)

New Washington is a Philippine municipality in the province of Aklan. It has 42,112 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

New Washington is known for the Sampaguita Garden. On the municipal area Kalibo wetlands stretch. In the village there is a campus of Aklan State University, which houses the College of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
