New York Film Festival

The New York Film Festival was founded in 1963 by film scholars Richard Roud and Amos Vogel and is adjacent to the San Francisco International Film Festival, founded in 1957, the oldest and most prestigious international film festival in the United States. The films are selected by the counterparties located in New York's Lincoln Center Film Society of Lincoln Center. The festival is non-competitive.

The 50th Film Festival was held to 14 October 2012 from September 28.
