New Zealand Rugby Union
The New Zealand Rugby Union ( NZRU ) is the sports association that is responsible for rugby union in New Zealand. It was founded in 1892 and belongs since 1949 to the World Federation of International Rugby Board.

The NZRU is responsible for several teams:
- All Blacks - the New Zealand national team of men
- New Zealand Sevens - the national team in the 7 Series Rugby
- New Zealand Māori - the national Māori, members of this team must have at least 1/16 māorischer descent be ( a Ururgroßelternteil )
- Junior All Blacks - despite their name, no boys team, but rather the B team
- U -19 and U21 junior national teams, commonly referred to as "Baby Blacks "
- Heartland XV: Consists exclusively of players from the amateur league Heartland Championship
- NZ Schools: development team for students

- Wheel Blacks - the national wheelchair rugby

The NZRU consists of 17 provincial associations of the North Island and the South Island of 9, ask the teams in the National Championships Air New Zealand Cup and Heartland Championship.
