Newaya Maryam

Newaya Mariam ( äthiop. ንዋየ ማርያም, throne name Wedem Asfare or Gemma Asfare, † 1382 ) was from 1372 to 1382 Negest Negus ( Emperor ) of Ethiopia and a member of the Solomonic dynasty. He was the eldest son of Newaya Krestos.
