Newcleus

Newcleus is an American electro and hip- hop group, which was founded in 1981 by Ben " Cozmo D" Cenac initially under the name Positive Messenger before they changed their name in Newcleus. The other members are Cozmo D' s wife Yvette " Lady E " Nique and their future husband Bob " Chilly B" Crafton. Unusually, the musicians played their instruments, which was rare in hip-hop groups.

The later success Jam On Revenge was included on their first demo tape more as fun, during which they took place more quickly their votes, which became her later trademark. This song impressed her future producer Joe Webb and in 1983 her first single. In 1984 the song Jam On It

The original Newcleus sound of the first two plates embossed neatly arranged music sequences, which often worked barely audible in the background with stereo effects.

After the two stylistically similar LPs Jam On Revenge and Space Is The Place appeared in 2000 an LP Next Generation, which, however, does not come from Newcleus (quote Coszmo D: " That album is as bogus as a 12 dollar bill " ) and also the Huxtable House Party published as a maxi-single contains (quote Cozmo D: "I would NEVER write a song did what corny enough to call Huxtable House Party " ).

Robert " Chilly B" Crafton III died on 23 February 2010 at the age of only 47 years of a stroke.
