NewsML

NewsML is an XML format that is used to exchange messages between agencies and their recipients. NewsML was specified in 2000 by the International Press Telecommunications Council ( IPTC), and is the successor News Industry Text Format ( NITF ) based of the also developed by the IPTC XML
