Newswatch (Nigeria)

NewsWatch is a weekly magazine published denes in Nigeria that of the Newswatch Communications Ltd.. is published. The publishing house was founded by the Nigerian journalist Dele Giwa, Ray Ekpu, Dan Agbese and Yakubu Mohammed 1984. The first edition of Newswatch was published on 28 January 1985. The circulation of the magazine is given in the top with 100,000 copies.

Dele Giwa, the first editor in chief, was murdered on October 19, 1986 in his home with a letter bomb.
