Next Friday

Next Friday is an American comedy film directed by Steve Carr from the year 2000. It is part of a trilogy with the previous Friday of 1995 and the successor Friday After Next from the year 2002.

Action

It's Friday again and Craig still has no job. Deebo wants revenge on Craig and breaks out of prison. In order to protect themselves from Deebo, Craig traveling to his uncle Elroy in the suburbs. Elroy lives by a high lottery win in a handsome house, along with his son, Day -Day and his girlfriend Sugar. But as an inevitable auction of the house arrives by not paying taxes, it turns out that Elroy has long since squandered all the money. To prevent the auction, breaking Day -Day and Craig into the neighboring house of the three Mexican brothers to steal the money needed. At the end of the film Deebo and the Mexican brothers are arrested by the police while Craig disappears with the money in peace. Then he goes back to his home.

Mick LaSalle wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle of 12 January 2000, the film was " very funny ". He compared it with the comedies Dumb and Dumber and There's Something About Mary.
