Next (TV series)

MTV Next is an American reality show of MTV. It is, depending on the season, in the original version with subtitles or dubbed in Germany aired. There have been broadcast at least 166 episodes. The actors act at least partially according to script, even the identity of the characters is only ajar in outline to that of their performers. A similar format was produced in 1997 and Gernot & Niavarani in ORF presented show sheet or flower.

Concept

In every show either a young man or a young woman has five blind dates. Once the candidate has enough of that date, he calls " Next! " (Engl.: " Next !") And the next date partner 's turn. For each partial minute, which runs the Date, the Date partner will receive one U.S. dollar. Does the date well, the candidate may offer the Date partner, either to take the money collected, or one more time to arrange to meet with him.

It often happens that one partner is already sent away again at the first eye contact just by its appearance. During each of the four other dates Date partner waiting in a converted luxury bus and get nothing from the dates of their competitors. While the dates run, the other four candidates are shown in the bus again and again, how they spent the time to argue and make friends.

In the Dates sometimes it is conventional activities such as eating out, but also to provide exceptional activities such as common blood donations or bull riding. Sometimes there are also sequences in which meet two homosexuals.
