NextEra Energy Resources

NextEra Energy Resources ( NRE) is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy. The company's headquarters is located in Juno Beach ( Florida). The story goes back to the year 1985 when ESI Energy was formed. In 1998 it was FPL Energy. January 7, 2009 the company was renamed in NextEra Energy Resources, LLC.

The company is particularly solar energy, among other things, as operator of the Solar Energy Generating Systems and wind turbines but is also the owner of the Seabrook nuclear power plant. In addition, includes 13 gas incinerators for possession of the company. The installed capacity of all 115 power plants in 2012 was 18.9 GW. The electricity supplier is active in 26 states in the United States and in Canada.

NextEra Energy Resources is a member of the Stock Exchange Dow Jones Composite Average.
