NEXUS (frequent traveler program)

NEXUS is a Canadian- American border control procedures, the checked and registered travelers from the two countries facilitates border crossing.

Members of the NEXUS program to Canadian and U.S. citizens and persons whose main residence is in one of the countries that have already completed border crossings in the normal procedures and have been checked by different security agencies of the two countries. For nationals of the two countries in the NEXUS card replaces the passport. The card is electronically readable.

Travelers in possession of a NEXUS card can undergo accelerated security checks and carry out checks on persons at border control machine itself, use at border crossings with cars separate NEXUS lanes and to register by phone when crossing the border by boat in certain airports.
