Nezavisne novine (English about Independent news or Independent Newspaper ) is a daily newspaper from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in December 1995 by Željko Kopanja and first appeared weekly. The newspaper had a circulation of 11,000 in 2001 and 2008 edition 20000-25000.

Nezavisne novine was among the first media in the Republika Srpska, which reported on war crimes. The publishing company of the newspaper since 1997, operates a radio station, Nes radio. At times, they also issued a women's magazine called Minja.

In October 1999, a bomb attack was the founder and editor of the newspaper, Željko Kopanja perpetrated, in which he lost both legs. The attack was never solved. In 2000 Kopanja received the International Press Freedom Award.

Longtime editor in chief was Dragan Jerinić. In 2009, he was replaced by Borjana Radmanović - Petrović.
