Nezool

Nezool was a Christian King of Aksumitisches Empire in Africa. He ruled in the second half of the fifth century. Nezool is so far known only from his coins. There are also coins, on which he appears as Nezana, being in the research but also discusses the possibility that there were two different, perhaps simultaneously reigning sovereign. Its coins show on both sides of his portrait with a cross on the head and ears framed. The Greek inscriptions of gold coins denominated BACILEYC NEZOWL ( King Nezool ) and QEOV E VXAPICTIA ( by the grace of God? ). From Nezana both gold and silver coins are obtained, and also the name NZWL, so will Nezool on some of the silver coins.
