NGC 185

NGC 185 is a dwarf elliptical galaxy of the Local Group and is about 2.3 million light -years away from Earth. It is a companion galaxy of the Andromeda nebula and, together with NGC 147 a pair. NGC 185 was discovered on November 30, 1787 by William Herschel.
