NGC 300
NGC 300 is the designation of a galaxy with a pronounced spiral structure (type Sc) in the constellation Sculptor. NGC 300 has an angular extent of 21.9 ' x 15.5 ' and an apparent brightness of 8.1 mag.
NGC 300 was discovered on August 5, 1826 by the Scottish astronomer James Dunlop.
