NGC 3310

NGC 3310 is the name of a spiral galaxy 59 million light years is the distance from the earth. It is believed that NGC 3310 collided about 100 million years, with one of its satellite galaxies and is fused with her. This collision is the suspected cause of which takes place in NGC 3310 very strong star formation.

NGC 3310 was discovered on 12 April 1789 by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
