NGC 4244

NGC 4244 is the name of a galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. NGC 4244 has a surface area of 15.8 '× 2.5 ' and an apparent magnitude of 10 mag. The galaxy was discovered on 17 March 1787 by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
