NGC 7317

NGC 7317 is an elliptical galaxy in the constellation Pegasus, which is about 300 million light -years away from Earth. NGC 7317 is a member of the galaxy group Stephan's Quintet.

The galaxy NGC 7317 was discovered on September 23, 1876 by the French astronomer Édouard Jean -Marie Stephan.
