Nguyen Minh Phuong

Minh Phuong Nguyen (Vietnamese spelling Nguyễn Minh Phương; born July 5, 1980) is a Vietnamese football players.

Career

Nguyen plays since 2003 in the V -League at Long An Dong Tâm and since 2002 in the Vietnamese national football team. From 1998 to 2002, Nguyen played at Thep Mien Nam Cang Sài Gòn.

2001/ 02, 2005 and 2006, the midfielder with his respective club Vietnamese champion, 2000 and 2005, he won the Vietnamese Cup competition. In 2006 he won the Vietnamese Supercup.

In Asian Cup 2007 he led his team as captain to the quarterfinals, where the team the eventual champions Iraq defeated 0-2.
