Nguyễn Thái Học

Nguyen Thai Hoc, Chu Hán :阮 太 学; (* 1902, † 1930) was a Vietnamese revolutionary and founder of the Việt Nam Quốc Dân Đằng ( VNQDĐ ), the Vietnamese Nationalist Party. He was arrested and executed after the failure of the instigated by the VNQDD on February 9, 1930 mutiny of the garrison Yen Bai by the French colonial authorities.

Although he was away at that time the transforming ( at the instigation of Ho Chi Minh's ) socialist groups as Confucian embossed nationalist, he is officially revered as an important figure in a number of fighters against foreign rule until today. In all major cities of Vietnam, a main street is named after him.
