NHIndustries

NHIndustries (where NH for " NATO Helicopter " is ) is a helicopter manufacturer based in France.

History

The company was (since 2014 Airbus Helicopters, Germany and France), Agusta (Italy ) and Stork Fokker Aerospace ( Netherlands) founded in 1992 jointly by Eurocopter.

The equity shares of these three companies NHIndustries are:

  • Airbus Helicopters: 62.5 % it Eurocopter Germany: 31.25%

NHIndustries was built as a special enterprise for planning, production, implementation, production and logistic support of the NH90 helicopters.

Products

The NHIndustries produces the NH90 Tactical Troop Transport in the variants ( TTH ) and the NATO Frigate Helicopter ( NFH). The NH90 is used in NATO primarily as a transport helicopter. In the Bundeswehr, the model replaces mainly the Bell UH -1.
