NHL Foundation Player Award

The NHL Foundation Player Award is an ice hockey award of the National Hockey League. It has been awarded annually since 1998 to the player that has particularly engaged for charitable purposes in society. It is presented in partnership with the NHL Foundation.

The four-member selection panel is made up of NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, the NHL 's director of alumni relations Pat Flatley, the NHL vice president and NHL Foundation Executive Director Bernadette Mansur and the NHL vice president of the charity and diversity program Kenneth Martin Jr. together.
