Nia Long
Nitara Carlynn " Nia " Long ( born October 30, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actress.
Biography
Nia Long is the daughter of Doughtry "Doc" and Talita Long. Her parents divorced when she was just two years old. After the divorce, she moved with her mother to Iowa City, Iowa. There, her mother studied fine arts. When she was seven years old, they went to the south of Los Angeles. Nia attended a Catholic school and received a ballet, tap dance, jazz, guitar and acting lessons.
Her first notable role was in Springfield Story, where she appeared three years. Guest appearances they had in the series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Emergency Room, Moesha and Judging Amy. In Made in America, it embodies Zora Mathews, the that have been made by a sperm donation daughter of Sarah Mathews, played by Whoopi Goldberg.
She also played the role of Sasha Monroe in the television series Third Watch, where she is treated as a spy of the Internal Affairs Bureau into 55er territory.
