Nic Jones
Nic Jones ( born January 9, 1947 in Orpington ) is an English folk singer, guitarist and fiddler. A serious car accident ended his career in 1982.
Biography
Nic Jones grew up in Essex. In the late 1960s he was a member of the folk band The halliard. In 1969, Jones appeared on solo and released five albums. His last, Penguin Eggs of 1980, is considered a milestone of British Folks. In February 1982, Jones was on the way back from a gig in a serious car accident, who had an eight-month hospital stay result and led to permanent restrictions on his motor skills, what his music career ended. After 28 -year break, he was back on stage for the first time in 2010 and since then occurs regularly as a guitarist on.
