NIC Zuidlaren

The NIC Assen is an international riding tournament that will be held in Assen, Netherlands since 2009. The full name of the tournament is Noorderlijk Internationaal Concours hippique Assen, but it is usually referred to only as a NIC Assen.

As part of the tournament national and international exams in jumping as well as national examinations will be held in dressage. The tournament takes place each October, the venue is the TT Hall in Assen.

NIC to 2008

Up to 2008 the tournament was mainly organized by the company BCM and discharged in a few miles north of Assen located Zuidlaren.

In February 2010, the previous venue of the NIC, the Prins Bernhardhoeve ( Prince Bernhard - yard ) in Zuidlaren the first International Show Jumping Zuidlaren, a CSI 3 * discharged. Again, national and international exams in jumping as well as national examinations will be held in dressage.

Winner (since 2002)

The highlight of the show jumping is the Grote Prijs van Drenthe ( Grand Prix of Drenthe ), an international class with jump. This will be held on Sunday afternoon.

The highlight of the training is the Grand Prix Freestyle, which will be held on Sunday night since 2009. Previously, this was held on Sunday morning.
