Nicholas IV of Werle

Nicholas IV, Lord of Werle [ Goldberg ], called Poogenoge ( * before 1331, † 14 March to 13 November 1354 ) was from 1350 to 1354 to Mr. Werle - Goldberg.

He was the son of John III. and Mechthild of Pomerania ( * before 1319, † 1331 ). His nickname he should have received from the form and expression of his eyes.

He ruled at first with his father Johann and 1350 alone the rule of Werle - Goldberg. He closed yet on March 14, 1354 from a land of peace, but is no longer mentioned on November 13th of that same year.

He was married to Agnes ( † after 1361 ). Presumably, she was a daughter of daughter of Ulrich II of Lindow - Ruppin. After Nicholas ' death she married John I of Mecklenburg- Stargard.

Children

Nicholas had three detectable children. His son John IV was for him to Mr. Werle - Goldberg. His daughter Matilda ( † before 17 December 1402) married Lorenz von Werle - Güstrow and his daughter Agnes married John VI. Werle merchandise.
