Nicholas Kemboi (born 1983)

Nicholas Kemboi ( born November 25, 1983 in Kericho, Rift Valley Province ) is a Qatari long-distance runner Kenyan origin.

2001 was fourth in the junior race of the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, 2002 seventh.

In 2003, he ran the 10,000 m in 26:30,03 min. Only two runners (Paul Tergat and Haile Gebrselassie ) had previously been faster, and since that time has been exceeded only by Kenenisa Bekele.

For Qatar starting, he took part in the World Athletics Championships in 2005 and took over 10,000 m in ninth place.
