Nicholas Latifi
Nicholas Latifi ( born June 29, 1995, Toronto ) is a Canadian race car driver. He started in 2013 in the European Formula 3 Championship.
Career
Latifi began his motorsport career in karting in 2009, where he remained active until 2012. In the season 2011/2012 he also made his debut in Formula racing and participated in two races in the Skip Barber Winter Series. He chose one for yourself. 2012 received Latifi in the Italian Formula 3 Championship first a cockpit at BVM. After the second event in the series, he moved to JD Motorsport. For this team, he completed the rest of the season and won a race. Overall, he stood on the podium four times. He finished the season in seventh place in the drivers' standings, while his team-mate Riccardo Agostini won the championship. In addition, Latifi took 2012 in North America at a GT race in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge part.
The beginning of 2013 came Latifi for Giles Motorsport for Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand to. He finished the season on top of the ninth. Then Latifi returned to Europe and was at Carlin a cockpit for the European Formula 3 Championship in 2013. He finished the season in 15th place overall. In addition, Latifi took part in the British Formula 3 championship for Carlin 2013. With a third place as the best result he became fifth.
