Nick Andries

Nicholas "Nick" Andries (born 19 November 1990) is an American race car driver.

Career

Andries began his motorsport career in 2003 in karting, where he remained active until 2008. Among other things, he won the 2007 TAG WKA Florida Championship Series. 2010 moved Andries into formula racing. He competed in the Skip Barber National Championship and won a race. By season's end he was in sixth place in the championship. In addition, he rose to the middle of the season for Andersen Racing in the Star Mazda Series a. With a sixth place as best result he finished the season off on the 15th rank. 2011 moved Andries within the Star Mazda Series for Team Pelfrey. With four second and three third places he stood on the podium seven times, making him the rider with the most podium finishes. At the end of the season he was on the third place. With 385 to 401 points, he defeated his teammate Connor De Phillippi, who was runner-up.

2012 Andries took part in a race in the Indy Lights for Bryan Herta Autosport. More racing commitments he graduated not this season.
