Nick Gilder
Nick Gilder ( born November 7, 1951 in London, England) is an English- Canadian rock singer.
In 1961 he emigrated with his family to Canada. In 1971 he founded with Jimmy McCulloch the glam rock band Sweeney Todd, the the hit Roxy Roller, which reached # 1 on the RPM Canadian Singles charts on 26 June of that year ( and three weeks held the pole position ) in 1976 with him as the lead singer landed. The single made it to number 90 on the U.S. charts. After he had left the band, Bryan Adams became the new singer and the same song was released again.
As of 1977, Gilder solo albums. His title Hot Child In The City was number 1 in the U.S. and went platinum. More hits then no longer reach, although Gilder is still active today.
