Nick Vogel

Nicholas " Nick " Bird (born 5 February 1990 in San Diego, California) is an American volleyball player.

Career

Vogel began his career in 2004 at the Steele Canyon High School. In 2007 he moved to Valhalla High School. In parallel, he played since 2006 for the Epic Volleyball Club. 2009 started the middle blocker, who also has German citizenship, his studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he played in a team of UCLA Bruins. In the same year he took part with the junior national team of the United States at the World Championships in Pune, when the Americans occupied the eighth. In 2011 he reached with the senior national team at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara fifth place. After the end of his college career bird went in 2012 to the Greek club Panathinaikos Athens. In 2013 he was obliged by the German Bundesliga TV Buhl.
