Nick Young (basketball)

Nick Young ( born June 1, 1985 in Los Angeles, California) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers. It can be used on the shooting guard position, and at the small forward position play and impresses with its speed and puppies.

Career

Young played for the University of Southern California ( 2004-2007 ) and was twice elected to the All- Pacific -10 First Team (2005/ 06 and 2006/ 07). When NBA Draft 2007, he was selected to 16 out of the Wizards. In the NBA he got towards the end of the season 2009/2010 more playing time because of Wegganges of Caron Butler and injury to Josh Howard. Since then, he is in the starting five of the Wizards. On 11 January 2011 he succeeded his personal points record with 43 points against the Sacramento Kings.

March 2012 he was discharged from the Wizards as part of a trade between three teams to the Los Angeles Clippers. After four months at the Clippers Young signed a one year contract in July 76ers in Philadelphia.

After the expiration of his contract with the 76ers Young received no new contract offer from the club on. He then moved to the Los Angeles Lakers.
