Nicholas " Nicky " David Maynard ( born December 11, 1986 in Winsford, Cheshire ) is an English footballer who is since the 2012/13 season at Cardiff City under contract.

Sports career

Crewe Alexandra (2005-2008)

Nicky Maynard began his playing career in the 2005/06 season at Crewe Alexandra in the second-rate Football League Championship. After he was first hired at an amateur club, he celebrated at the end of the season his debut in the match against FC Millwall. Already with the first touch he also achieved his first goal in professional football. His team was relegated at the end of the season from a third from bottom of the second division, but conquered the 20 -year-old Maynard (31 Spiele/16 goals) in the 2006/07 season a regular place in his team. Bristol City (2008-2012)
