Nico Braun

Nico Braun ( born October 26, 1950 in Luxembourg ) is a retired Luxembourgian football player who played as a center forward.

Brown joined 20 -year-old Union of Luxembourg to the German Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 and played there from 1971 to 1973 a total of 36 Bundesliga games. He then moved to France for FC Metz, where he scored 96 goals in 170 league games. During his time in Metz he trained for two seasons a strike partnership with Argentinian Hugo Curioni, which was nicknamed " Les artilleurs de Metz ".

After a stopover at the Belgian club Charleroi SC Brown joined the French second division side FC Thionville. In Union Luxembourg, where he had already played in the youth, he was subsequently allowed to end his career.

He completed 31 games for the Luxembourg national team, in which he scored six goals. Counting also games against B and amateur teams in other organizations aware, he played a total of 40 matches in which he scored nine goals.
