Nico Minardos

Nico Minardos (Greek Νίκος Μινάρδος Nikos Minardos; * February 15, 1930 in Pangrati, Athens, Greece; † August 27, 2011 in Woodland Hills, California ) was a Greek- American actor.

Life

Minardos grew up in Greece, studied at the Sorbonne and graduated from UCLA. In 1952 he made ​​his debut, under contract with 20th Century Fox, the film Monkey Business alongside Cary Grant and Marilyn Monroe. Numerous roles in movies, but primarily for television emerged in the over thirty years subsequent activity. Typically cast as a Southerner, he often played guest roles in series, but also in adventure and action movies. After an appearance in an episode of Simon & Simon he ended his acting career in 1986. In 1966 filming of a TV movie in Peru his colleague Eric Fleming drowned in a canoe scene, was able to escape with difficulty in Minardos. In 1977 he had Assault on Agathon also produced.
