Nico Monien
Nico Marvin Monien ( born April 8, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German racing driver.
Career
Like most racers began Monien his career in karting, he carried out from 1998 to 2007. Among other things, he was third in the 2006 Spanish Championship ICA. 2008, the German was in the ADAC Formula Masters made his debut in Formula racing and won two victories at first the runner-up title in the series behind his teammate Armando Parente. 2009 saw Monien in the German Formula 3 Cup and launched for Zettl Motorsport. Having already completed five races on the podium, he won the second race at the Euro Speedway Lausitz in his first race in the German Formula 3 end of the season, he finished fifth overall and was thus behind his team mate Markus Pommer, who without a victory by third parties been. He also was the season finale of the Formula 3 Euro Series debut as a guest driver for Mücke Motorsport.
In 2010 he received no cockpit for the entire season and he took for URD racing starting only participate in a race weekend of the German Formula 3 Cup. It succeeded him win a race. The season he finished in 14th place overall.

Monien grew up in Spain and automotive mechatronics. 2009 and 2010 he was a carrier candidate of the German Post Speed Academy.
