Nicola de Marco

Nicola de Marco ( born August 28, 1990 in Pordenone ) is an Italian race car driver.

Career

De Marco began his motorsport career in karting in 2000, which the held until 2005. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing and finished third overall in the Italian Formula Azzura. The following year, de Marco went to the Italian Formula 3 Championship at the start and was sixth in the overall standings. 2008 joined de Marco in the Spanish Formula 3 Championship. With two wins, he finished fourth overall.

2009 started de Marco in the revived Formula 2 with a second place as best result he finished at the end of the season tenth overall. 2010 remains de Marco in Formula 2 and won in Brno its first Formula 2 race. With another victory, he finished the season in eighth place in the overall standings.
