Nicola Pecorini

Nicola Pecorini ( born August 10, 1957 in Milan, Italy ) is an Italian cameraman.

Life

Nicolas began working in 1976 as an assistant for the Italian photographer Oliviero Toscani. In the early 1980s he moved to the film, where he worked as a camera assistant. Together with Garrett Brown, the inventor of the Steadicam, he founded the company in 1988 Steadicam Operators Association, Inc. in the United States Pecorini emigrated in 1993 and since 1997 he has worked regularly as a cinematographer, including for director Terry Gilliam for whom he Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Tideland and the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus turned. In 2013 they continued their cooperation with The Zero Theorem.

Pecorini is married to British actress Caroline Goodall, with whom he has two children.
