Nicola Philippaerts

Nicola Philippaerts ( born July 30, 1993 Genk, Limburg) is a Belgian show jumper.

In January 2013, located at No. 74 in the world rankings.

Career

In the Youth Olympics in Singapore in 2010, he won the seat of Gippsland Girl with the European team ( Martin Fuchs, Wojciech Dahlke, Valentina Isoardi, Carian Scudamore ) gold. The riders started here with Leihpferden that were drawn against them.

At the European Championships for Young Riders 2011 Comporta Nicola Philippaerts was double European champion.

In the same year Philippaerts was the first member of a Belgian team in the age group of the " tab". In the FEI Nations Cup, he was employed in the Nations of Rotterdam, where Belgium was ranked fourth. He was also in the downstream Nations Series, the Promotional League, used twice in 2011 ( in guillemots, 4th Place and in Lisbon, 5th place ). In the Belgian Championships in Lanaken 2011 Reiter - Zangersheide he was with Carlos runner-up.

Private

Philippaerts comes from a horse loving family. He is the son of jumping rider Ludo Philippaerts. Even his uncle Johan Philippaerts and his twin brother Olivier are active as jumpers.

Nicola Philippaerts lives with his parents and his three brothers on the family-owned riding facility in Meeuwen - Gruitrode.

Since mid- 2012, he is in a relationship with the Spanish dressage rider Morgan BARBANÇON Mestre.
