Nicolao Dorati
Nicolao Dorati ( Nicolaus, Niccolo, Nicolò ) (* 1513 in Granaiola in Lucca, † 1593 in Lucca ) was an Italian trombonist, conductor and composer.
He worked since 1543 in the town chapel of Lucca, first as a trombonist and 1557 for over twenty years as Kapellmeister.
He created several books of polyphonic madrigals meet both stylistically and musically demanding.
