Nicolas Dickner

Nicolas Dickner (born 1972 in Rivière -du -Loup, Quebec, Canada ) is a Canadian writer.

Life

Nicolas Dickner studied creative writing at the University of Laval. Today he lives after extensive travels through Latin America and Europe in Montréal. Nikolski, his first novel, was a huge bestseller success in Canada and won the 2010 Canada Reads Books contest / Le combat des livres. Furthermore Nikolski won or been nominated the following prizes: Prix of Libraires 2006 Prix littéraire of colle giens 2006 Prix Anne Hébert 2006 Best first book, shortlisted Governor General's Award for Fiction in 2005, the Grand prix littéraire Archambault 2006 Shortlist Prix du Salon du Livre de Montréal, longlist Prix France- Québec, Prix Printemps des Lecteurs.
