Nicolas Perrin

Nicolas Perrin ( born 1959 ) is a Swiss engineer and since January 1, 2008, the CEO of SBB Cargo.

Life and work

Nicolas Perrin studied civil engineering at the ETH Zurich and graduated with a diploma.

He has worked since 1987 for the Swiss Federal Railways ( SBB), was the beginning of the nineties, personal assistant to the President of the General and then for five years deputy director of service planning / Rail 2000 Since 1999, Perrin has worked for SBB Cargo. As Deputy Head of Division, he led first production and later the International division of SBB Cargo.

In summer 2007, Perrin took over after the resignation of Daniel Nordmann interim Head of SBB Cargo. In December 2007, the Board of Directors of SBB elected him on 1 January 2008 as the new CEO of SBB Cargo and member of the Management Board of SBB. His focus is the rehabilitation of SBB Cargo.

Perrin is married and lives in Schaffhausen.
